Value In Action

We went to somewhere like old folk home today! And it's awesome, thank God :) I don't know where, but it's quite far from Yuying, as we took quite a long time being in bus before we reach. I am very excited for this program, because my friend and I spend about 7hours baking the cheese tart for those old folk, but for my 7hours including sleeping in kitchen, bringing my laptop there to use and Blogshoppig.. xD

For this VIA I didn't help my friends a lot, because I'm not the leader so what for spending my time to help?! HAHAH! But I got help to shop at NUTC, and it's my first time buying so much stuffs for there, if you want to know how much stuffs we bought do look at my Instagram's photo!

 Today my job was to be the emcee for Chinese, although my Chinese is quite "cui" but I think I really tried my very best in this role that I given in. :) And of course I'm not alone, Howei is my partner! She is the English emcee, and I think she did really well, cause I have to say that I'm really stupid keep asking her what to say, my Chinese really cannot make it :(

But I am not happy, I miss my grandfather, if I know he will pass away I will just give up my common test and take care of him, it really hurt badly inside, looking at those old folk missing my ahgong.. I wanted to cry, but I didn't, I am strong right. :) I just don't want to cry in front of my classmates and those old folks .. What's in my heart that moment was to let them feel happy, and I will be like your granddaughter for today. 

Then we have the station games, and I try to talk to them and let them feel happy, but they are like more cheerful than me! And a 70+ years old auntie even teach me how to play 5 stones, actually it suppose be us teaching them, but I can't even catch any bean bags :( Auntie beside keep laughing :( But I can confirm that they are happy, so I think is worth it :) 

After that I saw a auntie very lonely, because no one know how to speak Hokkien and she don't understand chinese, so is really quite for me to explain the games to her and play with her, I tried my best to talk to her like how my ahma talk to me with hokkien but she like don't understand what am I saying, so I called my teacher (sushi) to help, but she's not bad, any say that auntie also understand. 

We have performance too! Like WuShu, flute and singing :)

Overall, today was a productive day! I really have to thank god for today, because I have the feeling belonging, like sometime I belong to the type of being emcee, belong to the type of helping? It's quite hard to explain lah, I really like this kind of CIP :) Hope to have more .. ^^
